PSG Mercato: Italian Media Outlet Reveals Wage and Contract Demands Made by Georginio Wijnaldum

The summer transfer window opens up next month, and Paris Saint-Germain will target players on expiring contracts. One player the capital club is reportedly talking with is Liverpool FC midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum as they look to improve their midfield.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Canal Supporters), manager Mauricio Pochettino has seen the 30-year-old up and close during his time managing in the Premier League.

PSG wants to bring Wijnaldum due to his mixture of aggressiveness, quality of passing, and forward projection, which is lacking in the club. Pochettino is ready to sacrifice one of Idrissa Gueye or Leandro Paredes to land Wijnaldum.

The Italian media outlet states that the midfielder wants a three-year deal with an annual salary of €5-million, which has cooled some clubs’ interest in the Liverpool player.

Nonetheless, there are a few suitors for the midfielder; FC Barcelona, AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Chelsea are among the clubs talking to the player.
