Paris Saint-Germain wants to upgrade their right-back position, and one name that the French giants have circled is FC Barcelona’s Emerson Royal, who is on loan to Real Betis.
A few days ago, the capital club sent a €15-million offer for the 22-year-old, but it appears to be an offer that the Spanish side won’t even entertain. Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona turned down an offer from AC Milan around €23-million, so they’re looking for a better offer.
One club that potentially could provide an offer that will grab Barcelona’s attention is FC Bayern Munich. According to Sky Sport (via UOL Esporte), the German giants could be looking at Emerson to upgrade their right-back position.
The report states that Bouna Sarr and Benjamin Pavard don’t convince the Bayern Munich directors. Nonetheless, there’s no formal offer yet for the Brazil international.
With potential interest from Bayern Munich, it will be interesting to see whether PSG decides to send another offer for Emerson, who they’ve tracked since the winter transfer window.
