Only a few games left in the Ligue 1 season, and Paris Saint-Germain finds itself in a tight race for the league title against Lille OSC. With the UEFA Champions League now out of the way, the capital club must remain focus on their domestic season. However, they’ll do so with an eye on 2021-22
Corriere della Sera (via Canal Supporters) reports that PSG plans to say goodbye to two players on the current squad, with both players possibly heading to AS Roma.
The first is Alessandro Florenzi, who is on loan from the Italian club, considering the French giants won’t exercise their option to buy clause on the right-back.
Meanwhile, the other player is Mauro Icardi. The 28-year-old is linked to a move back to Italy over the last couple of months, with Roma being a possible destination as they want to find the replacement for Edin Džeko.
There are no further details of what type of agreement there would be for Icardi, as PSG would like to recuperate some of the €50 million-plus a €5 million bonus that they spent to keep the Argentine striker.
