Even though Paris Saint-Germain did not come away from the campaign as Ligue 1 champions, the French side still had multiple standout players over the season. PSG talents Neymar, Keylor Navas, Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe were at the top of their game this season and thus were all named to the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Ligue 1 Team of the Season.

Mbappe finished the campaign as the league’s top scorer with 27 goals, which included scores against AS Monaco. On the other hand, Neymar missed a multitude of matches due to injuries and suspensions but still finished with 14 goal involvements this season.
Marquinhos and Kimpembe led PSG’s backline over this season. The Brazilian defender stepped up his play in first season as PSG’s team captain.
Navas won the UNFP’s Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Season award, so it is not a surprise to see the Costa Rican in this team of the season squad.
One notable omission from this squad is Marco Verratti, who had made the last seven UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Season squads. However, the Italian midfielder did miss time this season due to injuries.
PSG finished the campaign in second place with 82 points.
