‘I Cannot See a Stronger Candidate’ – Former Teammate Believes Neymar Will Win the Ballon d’Or in the Next Three or Four Years

Paris Saint-Germain has locked up Neymar Jr. until 2025, and although the 29-year-old wants to secure the capital club’s first UEFA Champions League trophy after reaching the final in 2020, but falling short to FC Bayern Munich.

Nonetheless, Neymar will also have individual accomplishments that he hopes to achieve as he spends the remainder of his prime years with the French giants, including winning a Ballon d’Or

Former Brazil national team teammate Oscar recently spoke to Goal, where he believes that the PSG forward will win Ballon d’Or during the remaining years of his new contract with Les Parisiens

“In the near future, I cannot see a stronger candidate than Neymar,” Oscar said. ” I think he will always be the biggest name in Brazilian football for the next three or four years.”

Neymar has had moments with the capital club appearing in vital moments like winning on the road in the group stage against Manchester United FC and heading to last year’s Champions League final.

However, the Brazil international has yet to put it all together over an entire season rather than in spurts. Perhaps over these next years, Neymar can secure that best in the world title along with a Ballon d’Or.
