‘He’s Already a PSG Player’ – Italian Football Journalist Claims It’s Only a Matter of Days Before Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi Joins Paris SG

Over the last few days, Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Inter Milan’s Ashraf Hakimi has intensified as the capital club seems to have an agreement in place with the 22-year-old. Now it comes down to finding a transfer fee that satisfies the Italian club.

Various reports have thrown out the potential transfer sum it will take to secure Hakimi. According to Italian football journalist Ciro Venerato, during “La Domenica Sportiva” of Rai 2 (via Canal Supporters), the Inter Milan defender is well on his way to being a PSG player.

“Achraf Hakimi will leave Italy for good and will go to PSG in the coming days,” Venerato said. “There is a gap of €20-million: Giuseppe Marotta asks for €80-million, Leonardo offers €60-million. At €70-million bonus included, the deal is concluded, but he is already a PSG player.”

Nonetheless, all this comes with some cautious optimism as Hakimi’s agent stated there’s nothing at the moment. Regardless it seems as though a deal will get done by both parties; it’s all about how to close that gap that’s likely the only hurdle in the negotiations.

Hakimi could be the start of PSG not only fixing its full-back situation since they’re expressing interest in AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez, but this potential transfer might kick off a busy summer with lots of spending.
