Over the last few years, Paris Saint-Germain has lost their emotions in significant matches, whether in UEFA Champions League or in domestic competition, when dealing with an incoming loss.
Many people will want to see the squad improve through transfers this summer, but there’s an area that manager Mauricio Pochettino also wants to improve. Le Parisien reports that the Argentine tactician intends to work on managing the emotions of his group.
This season has seen the capital club lose their emotions in various fixtures, the most recent being Ángel Di María’s red on Fernandinho against Manchester City.
According to the French media outlet, Pochettino advocates speaking about controlling the emotions in football, something that could help his players be calmer on the pitch.
PSG supporters would seem to welcome whatever technique helps the squad keep its composure because it often leads to their downfall even when they’re still in a match looking for a positive result.
