French Football Pundit Discusses Neymar’s Remarks Regarding His Will to Die on the Pitch for PSG Ahead of Man City Clash

Paris Saint-Germain faces a small mountain to climb as they hope to reach the UEFA Champions League final for the second consecutive year. After losing the semi-final’s first leg 2-1 at home, the capital club needs to score two goals to remove the away goal advantage that Manchester City has at the moment.

Ahead of the second leg, Neymar Jr. spoke about wanting to die and leave it all out on the pitch for PSG against the English Club. The 29-year-old did not factor in the scoring against Manchester City at home but hopes to play a more prominent role to help the French giants secure a positive result.

During her appearance on Late Football Club (via Canal Supporters), French football pundit Jessica Houara discussed Neymar’s comments regarding the PSG forward wanting to die out on the pitch in this second leg.

“Neymar said he was ready to die on the pitch; I hope we get to see him. There were these words; I hope that in the acts, we will see it ready to die on the ground and run,” Houara said. “Because if Gana Gueye takes a red on the first leg, it is because he is so overloaded to compensate for the tracking that Neymar, Mbappé, and Verratti did not do, so yeah, I hope Neymar is ready to die on the pitch for PSG.”

If Les Parisiens hope to advance, Neymar will overtake the match and be the best player on the pitch, which he’s more than capable of doing.
