FFF President Makes a Case on Why Mbappe Should Remain With PSG

French Football Federation (FFF) president Noel Le Graet made his case on why Kylian Mbappe should stay on with Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe’s contract extension dilemma with PSG will be among the top storylines to watch for the upcoming summer transfer window. The French forward will head into next season playing on the final year of his contract. Thus, all eyes will be watching to see whether Mbappe will sign an extension deal with PSG or opt to move to another club.

As expected, Le Graet much prefers Mbappe to stay put in Ligue 1. The French football president laid out his case on this matter during a talk with Le Parisien.

“Of course, I want him to stay in France, and at PSG,” Le Graet said. “He is young, and PSG still has many challenges to face. It’s not my direct business, but I prefer players of this level to be with us. My preference is very clear, and in my opinion, it is even better for him to stay.”

Mbappe is well expected to make a final decision on his PSG career over the summer window. The French forward will have a multitude of options on this matter, whether to sign a short-term extension deal with PSG or make a move elsewhere.
