‘We Have to Come Together’ – Hansi Flick Discusses Bayern Munich’s Mentality Ahead of Second Leg Against PSG

FC Bayern Munich will be traveling to the French capital to take on Paris Saint-Germain for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal matchup this week.

Les Parisiens came away with a 3-2 win result on the road at the Allianz Arena on a snowy night against the Bavarian club in the first leg. Over the weekend, both clubs return to domestic competition with one eye on the second leg.

The capital club took care of business in Ligue 1 competition as they came away with a 4-1 victory over RC Strasbourg Alsace. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich drew 1-1 to 1. FC Union Berlin.

Despite dropping points, the German club manager states that his squad is ready to look ahead to their match against PSG during his press conference where Canal Supporters relayed his comments.

“We have to come together. We need to make sure we calm down. We don’t have the opportunity to train a lot, so it’s essential for the players to recover well and clear their heads,” Flick said.

“It would have been better if we had won this game, but now we have to focus on the Champions League. We will try to score two more goals than them. I feel the players are eager to play this game.”

PSG and Bayern Munich will battle for 90 minutes as one of these two sides will be heading to the semifinals for the second season in a row.
