Various managers around club football in Europe have provided their thoughts on the 12 clubs looking to break away and begin their European Super League.
During his press conference with the media ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s fixture against Angers SCO, Mauricio Pochettino provided his thoughts on the subject where Canal Supporters relayed his comments.
The Argentine tactician was careful with his words regarding the topic as he chose the political route to answer the question over the potential super league.
“Above all, we need to be cautious and prudent before issuing an opinion without having all the details on this matter. There is a group of clubs that want to create a competition, and on the other hand, UEFA is trying to change or improve the Champions League,” Pochettino said.
“We will see in the weeks and months to come what this will give to give an opinion. We players and coaches, at this time of the year, are in three competitions, we have to focus on the game. This is where we have to put all our energy.”
