After missing the first leg of Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal matchup against FC Bayern Munich, Leandro Paredes returned to the starting eleven in the second leg.
The 26-year-old played all 90 minutes for the capital club, where he had 73 touches, went nine for 12 on his duels, and provided one key pass. After the match, Paredes spoke to PSG TV, where Canal Supporters relayed his comments on the French giants advancing to the semi-finals.
“We’re happy because we had a great game tonight. Unfortunately, we couldn’t win, that’s what we wanted to qualify, but we succeeded; that’s the main thing, we’re in the semi-finals, that’s what we wanted, we’re happy,” Paredes said. “We knew we were going to play against a great team. We played a different game from the first leg, today we played well, we had very good periods. We are happy.”
