Video: ‘The Little Things Were Really Decisive’ – Mauricio Pochettino Discusses PSG’s Loss to Manchester City

Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 defeat in the first leg against Manchester City FC in the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals was a tale of two halves. In the first half, the capital club was generating chances as they had nine total shots with four on target resulting in a goal.

Meanwhile, in the second half, the French giants only had one total shot. After the match, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to RMC Sport about what was a tale of two halves for his squad.

“I think we conceded two goals on details. Just before the equalizer, we had to score the second, and obviously, that changes everything,” Mauricio Pochettino said. “In the first half, we played really well, but in the second, we failed to score the second [goal]. There was a period for them and a period for us. There isn’t much more to analyze. The little things were really decisive and against us.”
