The ongoing contract extension saga of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé remains a topic for football media outlets. Until the player’s either decide to extend or Paris Saint-Germain agrees to sell, they’ll continue to talk about it into the future.
In his in-depth interview with Canal Plus, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo spoke about the futures of Mbappé and Neymar. Canal Supporters relayed the club chief’s comments concerning the contract extensions of his two superstars.
Despite the interest from Real Madrid, Leonardo remains calm and collective concerning Mbappé.
“Mbappé? Everything is clear. We know Kylian’s situation and he knows what we’re thinking. He still has a year on his contract. There is nothing more than that. His decision will come, the important thing today is to win. Confident for its extension? We are generally optimistic. The club is optimistic. We don’t even have a reason not to be optimistic about the future. I ask once again for total concentration in relation to the field because there are still ten matches,” Leonardo said.
“Neymar? Everyone already knows our intention. We are not in a hurry. Nobody is running behind us, we are really quiet, we have very good and frank relations. We will arrive at the moment of the decision because it is important to have clear things for the future.”
