Manchester City took advantage of mental mistakes that allowed them to score their two goals and come away with a 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League matchup.
One of the criticisms that manager Mauricio Pochettino is facing due to the loss is over the lack of changes to provide PSG with a different look as they only fired one total shot in the second half.
French football pundit Daniel Riolo is one of many questioning why didn’t the Argentine tactician make a change at the 60-minute mark during the “After the Foot” broadcast.
“When you realize that you are no longer in the game around the hour mark, shouldn’t you make changes? PSG had all its staff available,” Riolo said.
🗣 Daniel Riolo : "Quand tu te rends compte que t'es plus du tout dans le coup vers l'heure de jeu, est-ce que tu ne dois pas faire des changements ? Le PSG avait tout son effectif disponible".
