It was certainly not Neymar’s day during Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 fixture against Lille. The Brazilian did not contribute a goal or an assist in this contest and wound up being sent off following a second yellow card in the late stages of the match.
Neymar earned the second yellow card after pushing Lille right-back Tiago Djalo. Both players were subsequently red carded, but Neymar’s frustration with Djalo did not end there.
The two were seen almost coming to blows during a heated tunnel disagreement. Officials from both clubs had to intervene in order to prevent the two from being involved in a physical altercation.
