Paris Saint-Germain needed a statement start to begin its UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich, and Kylian Mbappe has provided just that.
Neymar was the key catalyst in this sequence. The Brazilian hustled on through into the final third and dished off a chance-creating pass over to Mbappe. The French forward took it from there as he scored the opener of this heavyweight tie.

Mbappe has now scored five goals in this season’s Champions League knockout stage. And for Neymar, he has his first Champions League assist of this season.
