Ángel Di María played 88 minutes in Paris Saint-Germain’s second leg against FC Bayern Munich. Despite the capital club not scoring a goal, the 33-year-old was one of the better players on the pitch.
Di María had 57 touches and won seven of his 15 duels and a key pass in the 1-0 loss to the Bavarian club. After the match, the Argentina international spoke to RMC Sport (via TNT Sports Brazil) with Canal Supporters relaying the forward’s comments.
“We did a great job; the team tried a lot. We beat the best team of last season, and we are going to the semi-finals,” Di María said. “I think it is deserved for all of us. We worked very hard to achieve these goals. Training, concentration all together. It’s an important moment for the club, and I hope that we can go even further. We deserve this qualification.
