Neymar Jr. did the unthinkable in 2017 when he decided to jump the FC Barcelona ship and join Paris Saint-Germain. Many criticized the move, stating that it was career suicide, but fast forward four years later, and the decision to depart the Spanish side was the smart choice.
Ahead of his second UEFA Champions League Semi-Final with the French giants, Neymar spoke to the football media at a press conference where he discussed any changes in himself since his arrival to the capital club.
Canal Supporters relayed Neymar’s comments.
“Since I arrived, I have had difficulties, and I have overcome them,” Neymar said. “I have always been a real professional even if some people said bad things. Me when I am on the field, I play, and I am professional. This year we are in the semi-finals; we will do everything to beat Manchester City. I feel good about myself, and I remain professional even in difficult situations.”
