Ahead of the anticipated matchup between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain will take place in a few hours. Furthermore, with the capital club without two midfielders in Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes, Ander Herrera could start tonight.
Hours away from the matchup, the PSG midfielder spoke to Europe 1 about the match versus the Bavarian club. Furthermore, Herrera doesn’t see these fixtures as revenge, considering it’s a different team.
Canal Supporters relayed the conversations between Herrera and the French media outlet.
“We think Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich. A crucial week? There are still matches in L1; nothing is final. But it is true that in the Champions League, there are no deadlines,” Herrera said.
“If you lose a game, you have big problems. The two competitions are different. Revenge against Bayern? Honestly, when I’m playing against a team I’ve lost to before, I don’t think of a rematch. Having revenge in mind is not the best way to prepare for a match.”
