Video: Hansi Flick Comments on Choupo-Moting Replacing Lewandowski Against PSG

Robert Lewandowski will miss the first-leg between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in their UEFA Champions League. The player that will replace the best striker in the world is a familiar name for capital club supporters, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

The 32-year-old knows some of the PSG defenders’ tendencies, so the German giants hope that the ex-Parisian can take advantage of his former club.

Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick spoke to the media, where Canal Supporters relayed his comments.

“Yes, I use the players who come from other clubs to discuss and maybe learn new ideas. Choupo is an essential player for us,” Flick said.

“As a substitute, he did not have a manageable period, but he showed all his qualities against Leipzig. He is significant for the team because he is a great guy. He unites the team, and that is also why we are happy to have him with us.”
