With Robert Lewandowski unavailable for Bayern Munich’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg fixture against Paris Saint-Germain due to injury, the German side called on Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to start out at the center forward position.
Choupo-Moting had a sluggish performance early on but made up for it with a header goal against former club PSG just minutes after Marquinhos’ stunning score.
This goal is the second for Choupo-Moting in this season’s Champions League knockout stage.
