Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel revealed some of his favorite moments and matches from his managerial run with Paris Saint-Germain.
Although Tuchel left PSG on shocking terms, there is no denying that he had quite a memorable run with the club. The German manager enjoyed success while with PSG, which included winning every possible domestic trophy and the appearance in last season’s UEFA Champions League final. PSG under Tuchel also had several strong showings, including against powerhouse clubs such as Real Madrid.
For Tuchel, there are a few moments and matches from his recent PSG run that stand out. Tuchel revealed these such moments during his talk with Canal Football Club.
“We had incredible matches, especially against Liverpool at the Parc,” Tuchel said. “It was an exceptional atmosphere. In Manchester too, both times. The return leg against Dortmund last season I will never forget. And to go to the final, it was extraordinary. There are a lot of positive memories. It is necessary that it remains like that.”
PSG’s Champions League run last season certainly stands out, as the side secured tie wins over the likes of Atalanta and RB Leipzig en route to its first-ever appearance in the final of this competition.
Tuchel is surely among the greatest managers in PSG club history.
