Angel Di Maria reached a landmark milestone during Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg fixture against Bayern Munich.
In PSG’s third goal of the match, Di Maria dished off a keen assist to Mbappe as the French forward ended up scoring a top-class goal. For Di Maria, this was the 100th career assist of his PSG career.
Overall, Di Maria has recorded assists in every competition that he has played in over his current PSG career. The Argentine has picked up 64 career assists in Ligue 1, 16 in UEFA Champions League play, 19 in French domestic cup tournaments and one in the Trophee des Champions.
Just this season, Di Maria has racked up assists in the team’s biggest fixtures, such as in the away Ligue 1 fixture against Lyon and the Champions League home group stage match against RB Leipzig.
Di Maria is well among the greatest talents to ever play for PSG.
