Seven Players Will Miss PSG’s Coupe de France Fixture Against Angers Due to Injury

Paris Saint-Germain will be without seven players for its upcoming Coupe de France quarterfinal clash with Angers due to injury, as announced by the club’s official website.

Keylor Navas is still recovering from the shoulder injury that kept him out of PSG’s recent Ligue 1 fixture against AS Saint-Etienne. The Costa Rican goalkeeper will be kept out of this fixture as a result but is expected back in training within the coming days.

Marco Verratti recently suffered a minor thigh injury, so PSG is remaining cautious by electing not to feature the Italian midfielder for this upcoming fixture.

Marquinhos continues to recover from the nagging thigh injury that he suffered earlier this month. The Brazilian will be back in training by the end of the week.

More so, Rafinha (back), Juan Bernat (knee), Alexandre Letellier (thigh), and Abdou Diallo (calf) will not take part in this match due to their respective injuries.

PSG aims to clinch a spot in the semifinals of this tournament.
