Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from its surprising Ligue 1 loss to Lille OSC with a convincing 4-1 win over Strasbourg. Goals from Kylian Mbappe, Leandro Paredes, Pablo Sarabia and Moise Kean proved to be just enough as PSG clinched the win and the three points from the match.
Rafinha earned a start in the match and went on to play in 74 minutes. Overall, the Brazilian notes that the team’s performance in the first half was much needed as it aimed to put out a statement showing.
Rafinha spoke further to Canal Plus about PSG’s result in the match.
“As we have seen this season, no game is easy,” Rafinha said. “We played well in the first half. We are at PSG, we have to win every match.”
Bayern Munich now awaits PSG in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg on Tuesday. The Brazilian midfielder sees that his teammates are well ready for this upcoming massive fixture against the Bundesliga powerhouse.
“I think we are ready for Bayern,” Rafinha said. “Each time, we give the maximum.”
PSG aims to hold off Bayern and move on into the semifinals of the competition for the second consecutive season.
