The Kylian Mbappé contract extension saga continues as Paris Saint-Germain wants to see the 22-year-old remain in the French capital. However, Les Parisiens have various plans ready to replace Mbappé should the forward decide not to extend his contract.
According to The Athletic, one player that the capital club could target to replace Mbappé is Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. Manchester United FC has long had an interest in the 21-year-old; however, it seems as though PSG is ready to swoop in should they need a replacement for Mbappé.
Sancho is under contract until 2023, and Transfermarkt puts the England international’s transfer value at €100-million. Expect for the German club’s asking price to be around that sum as they could look to cash in on Sancho as they could be without UEFA Champions League competition as they’re in fifth place, seven points from fourth place.
The 21-year-old has made 130 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and has scored 46 goals along with registering 60 assists.
