PSG Mercato: Manchester United Is a Surprise Name Showing Interest in Paris SG’s Striker

There’s no question that Paris Saint-Germain wants to hold onto striker Moise Kean. The 21-year-old’s contract expires in June. As a result, his future with the capital club is up in the air. Kean will return to Everton FC once his loan deal expires.

Nonetheless, the French giants are looking at various options that allow them to hold onto Kean. Les Parisiens can keep Kean by raising funds to pay the transfer fee that The Toffees want.

One trading chip that PSG could cash in on is Mauro Icardi. The 28-year-old striker has become a luxury more than a necessity with the emergence of Kean. Various rumors have linked the Argentina international to a make back to Italy.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport (via Top Mercato) reports that Manchester United has an eye on the Icardi situation. Furthermore, with the possibility of former PSG striker Edinson Cavani departing the English club, The Red Devils could be on the market for another forward.

The Italian media outlet states that the capital club could part ways with Icardi for around €30 million to €40 million. With Manchester United on the verge of clinching a UEFA Champions League spot for next season, the Premier League side could find the funds to pay that asking price.
