Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler is slated to depart from the club over the upcoming summer transfer window. The German midfielder’s active contract with PSG will expire after this season.
As an impending free agent, Draxler has been linked with multiple clubs for a possible free transfer move. And as noted by the Turkish-based outlet Fotospor (via Le10Sport), Galatasaray is the newest club in the rumor mill for a possible Draxler free transfer move.
The report added that the club is still working out its ongoing coaching dilemma and such a move for Draxler is currently on hold until the matter is resolved.
While Draxler has not had a shortage of rumored suitors, he also has had reported interest from PSG in coming to terms on a new contract extension deal. But as of late, there has not been much traction to this rumor.
Draxler has so far totaled for four goals and two assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
