Official Lineup: Neymar and Mbappe Set to Lead PSG’s Attack for the Champions League Showdown Against Bayern Munich

The stage is set for Paris Saint-Germain’s bout against FC Bayern Munich. The two sides will be facing off today in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie.

Both teams head into this fixture with notable absences, such as with the likes of Marco Verratti and Robert Lewandowski. Still, this has the makings of being the top tie of the quarterfinal stage.

Here is how PSG is rolling out its starting 11 for this matchup.

Keylor Navas take his usual position as the team’s starting goalkeeper. The Costa Rican goalkeeper has shined on multiple occasions over this season’s Champions League competition.

Marquinhos will captain and lead PSG’s defensive line for this fixture. The Brazilian will be without Alessandro Florenzi to his right side as Colin Dagba instead earns the start out at the right-back position.

Danilo Pereira starts in what could be argued is the biggest fixture of his career so far. PSG aims to see the Portuguese midfielder put together a top performance similar to his recent Ligue 1 showing against Olympique Lyonnais.

More so, PSG will look for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to guide the team’s attacking setup upfront.

PSG aims for a spot in the Champions League semifinals.
