At the time of publication, Lille OSC is six points ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 table, making Saturday’s clash against RC Strasbourg at the Meinau stadium absolutely vital for Les Parisiens in their title chase.
Three points are very much needed but with the return leg against FC Bayern Munich just three days away, Mauricio Pochettino had to strike a delicate balance with his starting lineup. Ahead of kickoff, PSG released what I would say is a fairly strong starting XI.

Kylian Mbappé starts along with Moise Kean and Pablo Sarabia in the attack. Behind them, Rafinha, Ander Herrera, and Leandro Paredes start in the midfield. Paredes will likely start against Bayern, so hopefully, he shows good form coming off his suspension.
In defense, Mitchel Bakker, Presnel Kimpembe, Danilo Pereira, and Thilo Kehrer make up the back line. Keylor Navas is in goal and PSG supporters hope his spectacular form continues.
There’s plenty of options for Pochettino on the bench, including Angel Di Maria, Idrissa Gueye, Julian Draxler, and Colin Dagba. I’m intrigued by Xavi Simons inclusion. He’s a highly rated youngster and if the game is put away soon enough, I hope we get a chance to see him.
If you’re in the United States, the Strasbourg vs. PSG match is on beIN Sports and the kickoff is at 11 AM ET. Allez Paris!
