Kylian Mbappé’s contract extension saga with Paris Saint-Germain remains an ongoing issue. Italian sports journalist Nicolò Schira stated the capital club is confident that they’ll extend their superstar. Furthermore, Schira said that there talks about having Mbappé remain in the French capital until 2026.
Nonetheless, the PSG forward took to the microphone with RTL (via Canal Supporters), where he answered a question regarding his future. Also, without sound from the interview, it seems as though Mbappé might be tired of discussing his contract status.
“Once my decision is made, I will come and talk about it,” Mbappé said. “My positioning, I don’t want to talk too much about it anymore. I am then quoted with things that I did not say. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.”
There’s no denying that many parties want to see a resolution to this saga as fast as possible. Les Parisiens would like to know as the summer months near as they’ll either keep Mbappé or have to set up shop as they’ll sell him to the highest bidder.
Furthermore, clubs such as Real Madrid would like to know as they prepare for their summer plans to try and usher in a new Galácticos era with Mbappé as the headliner in the Spanish capital.
Nonetheless, the waiting game continues as he’s not letting anything spill regarding his future.
