‘He’s Going to Go to War’ – French Football Journalist on the Qualities Moise Kean Brings to PSG

Moise Kean has found his confidence since arriving at Paris Saint-Germain. The 21-year-old has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the capital club and has 17 goals.

After a difficult season with Everton FC in the Premier League, Kean’s resurgence has Les Parisiens wanting to keep the young forward at any cost. Calciomercato reports that The Toffees want €50-million for the young striker.

Nonetheless, French football journalist Bruno Salomon discussed Kean’s qualities on L’Équipe (via Paris Fans) that could tempt PSG to pay the asking price to keep the Italy international long-term.

“Before at Paris Saint-Germain, it was Choupo-Moting. There, we have a boy who accepts the rotation. In Juve, he was the king. He left for an insane amount of money in Everton, but he did not find himself. In Paris, he found a job. He’s not the superstar. He’s a number two guy, but he’s going to go to war with your team,” Salomon said.

Kean appeared in the first-leg against FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, scoring a goal off a set-piece.

Suppose Les Parisiens want to get some revenge after losing the final last year against FC Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals. In that case, they’ll need Kean to appear in a significant moment to be a difference-maker.
