The UEFA Champions League quarterfinal will see a rematch of last year’s final between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. The capital club will have revenge on its mind after losing the close 1-0 final to the German giants.
After exercising their demons against FC Barcelona, Les Parisiens will try to do the same against Bayern Munich. After learning upon the draw, Marquinhos spoke to PSG TV, where he provided his thoughts on the matchup. Canal Supporters relayed the comments of the PSG captain’s words.
“We will have a great game to play. If we want to go far in this competition, FC. It’s a great team. We met them in the final last season; now it’s up to us to show that we can pass this stage,” Marquinhos said.
“It’s a shame that the supporters are absent this season; at the Parc with them, it always makes the difference. It is a particular context; we must respect the situation we live in, and we will put all the ingredients. We’ll have to go there to have a good game and come back here to validate the qualification.”
