Paris Saint-Germain will be without Neymar Jr. for the second-leg fixture against FC Barcelona in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16. The 29-year-old was hopeful that he’d make his return to face his former club; however, the capital club doesn’t want to risk re-aggravating his injury.
During his press conference with the media, goalkeeper Keylor Navas spoke about not having Neymar for the fixture. Canal Supporters relayed the Costa Rica international’s words over wanting a squad that’s 100-percent and not risking a player’s health.
“As I always say, we always want the full team with all the players at 100-percent. We have to face the situation, it’s better if he is 100-percent and comes back with peace of mind,” Navas said.
