After a rough first half, the French media outlet asked Pochettino what he said at half-time to avoid a collapse.
“What is clear is that in this first half, we overthought. We gambled, we thought too much, and we didn’t think about playing,” Pochettino said. “We thought too much about this qualification. I told the squad that, to think about the game and forget about the negative influences. I’m happy that we changed things now we qualified for the quarterfinals, and we responded present.”
