Paris Saint-Germain will be taking on Olympique Lyonnais as the winner will claim sole possession of second place in the Ligue 1 table. Both clubs are tied for 60 points and want to remain within striking distance of Lille OSC, who sits atop in first place.
For the capital club, they’ll see Neymar Jr.’s return as Les Parisiens tries to bounce back after a difficult loss last weekend against FC Nantes. At his press conference, Mauricio Pochettino discussed the 29-year-old’s return to the PSG lineup. Canal Supporters relayed the Argentine tactician’s words concerning the Brazil international.
“Neymar is on the list of players who will be in the squad. It is a great joy to be able to count on him. It’s a big step for him and the team. We like to apply common sense. After the game against Caen, it’s been about five weeks or almost six since he played. It won’t be easy to see him from the start of the match. It’s already good that he can be there.”
