Paris Saint-Germain picked up a 3-0 win over Lille OSC as the capital club is advancing to the Coupe de France quarterfinals. The French giants were coming off a tough loss to FC Nantes last weekend and needed to get back into the win column.
After the match, forward Moise Kean spoke to PSG TV, where the 21-year-old discussed the victory.
“It was essential to gain confidence, to continue to progress as we always do. We move on to Sunday’s match (against Lyon), which will be a great match before joining the national teams. But here, we only think of making a good result for the top of the standings,” Kean said.
“My absence? Yes, it was not easy, but I will regain confidence day after day with training and matches, and that will be a good thing.”
Les Parisiens will look to use this momentum as they head on the road to the Groupama Stadium this weekend for a heavyweight tilt against Olympique Lyonnais.
