Paris Saint-Germain is a couple of hours away from their second-leg fixture against FC Barcelona in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.
Ahead of the match, Neymar Jr.’s father, Neymar Santos Sr., shared his message to the capital club squad despite his son not being fit for tonight’s fixture.
“Today is the day to build another chapter in the history of PSG in the Champions League! A story full of outstanding and memorable moments that only the union and the happiness that exist between the athletes of this team explain,” Neymar Sr. stated.

The French giants are 90 minutes away from heading to the quarterfinals for the second year in a row. After reaching the Champions League final last summer, PSG would like to make its way back. However, they’ll have to exercise their demons as some players who were in that 6-1 fixture four years ago want to eliminate Barça to close that remontada chapter.
Les Parisiens are up 4-1 on aggregate courtesy of their performance at the Camp Nou against the Spanish side. Neymar will be in attendance supporting his teammates despite missing the match. Nonetheless, expect the 29-year-old to relay the message from his father to his teammates.
