Report: PSG’s Projected Starting Lineup Against Bordeaux

Following the key Ligue 1 win over Dijon, Paris Saint-Germain now heads towards a fixture against Bordeaux.

PSG is getting multiple players back for this match, including Leandro Paredes, who missed the Dijon fixture due to a yellow card suspension.

PSG does have multiple players who will miss this fixture, including Kylian Mbappe (yellow card suspension) and Alessandro Florenzi (adductors).

Still, as noted by Le Parisien, PSG is expected to roll out a formidable starting 11.

Navas; Dagba, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Kurzawa; Paredes, Gueye; Kean, Rafinha, Draxler; Icardi

Since PSG will be without Mbappe and Neymar, Mauro Icardi may likely have to carry the load upfront. At the least, Moise Kean may accompany the Argentine in the attack via his temporary new role as a right winger in the team’s 4-2-3-1 setup.

Leandro Paredes should be a welcome addition back to the team’s starting 11. He has been a regular in PSG’s scheduled training sessions this week, so there may likely be no rust concerns heading into this match.

PSG likely will not have to be concerned much with Bordeaux’s attack, especially as the side is averaging a low 1.04 goals per game in league play this season. Thus, this match could be one in which PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas picks up another clean sheet in.

A win is much-needed at this point in the season for PSG.
