Sergio Ramos provided for his honest take on why Real Madrid would have a hard time attempting to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
Over the past months, the rumors have ramped up regarding Mbappe’s PSG future. As many expected to see, the rumor mill continues to be filled with Mbappe and Real Madrid links.
Mbappe still has not made a decision over whether he aspires to stay on with PSG or leave for another club, such as the regularly linked Real Madrid. With the latter, this move may be quite complicated for Real Madrid, according to Sergio Ramos.
During a Twitch Live talk with Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos, Ramos was asked whether he would prefer to sign Haaland or Mbappe. Overall, the Spanish defender sees that it would be “easier” to haul in Haaland due to the financial hardships of putting together a Mbappe transfer offer.
“I would like to bring in both,” Ramos said. “At the moment, I think it is easier to sign Haaland. With Mbappé, it is more complicated from an economic point of view with the current situation.
“I think it would not be bad for Real to strengthen with Haaland. With his hunger for goals, he would bring a lot to the club. Mbappé would also bring, but it’s more difficult to bring him in.”
PSG would sure want as much as possible for any Mbappe transfer move if the French forward decides to leave the club.
