Over the last couple of weeks, the Lionel Mess to Paris Saint-Germain rumor has died down a bit, but now with the second-leg at the Parc des Princes around the corner next week, the story is back.

According to the Spanish media program El Chiringuito, the 33-year-old is reportedly seeking a home in the French capital. There’s no denying that the capital club would like Messi, especially if Kylian Mbappé doesn’t extend his contract.

Nonetheless, tracking the real estate and home accommodations of players isn’t necessarily the smartest way to track a potential transfer target. However, with FC Barcelona being in Paris next week, it explains why this kind of rumor is beginning to have legs. Perhaps Messi could see himself living in the French capital.

PSG forward Neymar Jr. has made it clear that he would like to play with his former Barça teammate, and there’s a history of spite between Les Parisiens and the Spanish side. With Barça hanging one for dear life, PSG can land the knockout blow and take their best player this summer.
