PSG Mercato: Paris SG Plans to Revisit Its Interest in Lazio’s €7-Million Right-Back

This summer, Paris Saint-Germain will look to improve its right-back position. Regardless if they decide to exercise the option to buy clause on Alessandro Florenzi, who’s in on loan from AS Roma.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Le10Sport), the capital club is circling back on a past transfer target in Lazio right-back Adam Marušić. PSG sporting director Leonardo enjoys shopping in Serie A, so it comes as no surprise.

The 28-year-old’s contract expires next year, and if the Italian side can’t agree to an extension, they’ll look to sell the player rather than losing him on a free transfer.

Marušić has spent the last four seasons with Lazio, where he’s made 124 appearances in all competitions where he’s scored nine goals and registered 13 assists.

When it comes to the transfer value, Transfermarkt places it at €7-million, so it’s a cheap purchase for PSG should they pursue the right-back. Nonetheless, Marušić is one of many targets that the French giants will have to improve that position.
