PSG Mercato: Paris SG Is Expressing Interest in Juventus’ Veteran Defender as a Possible Option Behind Marquinhos and Kimpembe

Heading into this summer, Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market for a third center-back to slide behind Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe. Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo perhaps don’t convince sporting director Leonardo for that role, so the capital club is in the market for a central defender.

After Thiago Silva’s departure, PSG could be looking for a veteran central defender at a reasonable price. Over the last few months, Les Parisiens have seen their name linked to Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.

Now it seems as though the French giants could be adding another veteran defender to their target list. Calciomercato reports that the capital club is expressing an interest in Juventus FC central defender Leonardo Bonucci.

The 33-year-old is under contract with the Italian side until 2024. As a result, PSG would need to fork over a transfer fee for Bonucci. The Juventus defender has made 26 appearances for The Old Lady, and according to Transfermarkt, Bonucci has a transfer value of €13-million.
