PSG Mercato: Paris SG Inching Closer in Finalizing a Contract Extension With Ángel Di María

Paris Saint-Germain’s priority is to extend Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé, but there are players on the squad needing new deals at the end of the season. Forward Ángel Di María requires a new contract as his current one expires in June.

According to RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi, the capital club and El Fideo have agreed on a new deal to keep the 33-year-old in the French capital for one more season. Tanzi revealed no further details, only that the agreement is close to being announced.

The Argentina international arrived with Les Parisiens in 2015 after a forgettable season with Manchester United FC. In his nearly six years with PSG, Di María has made 248 appearances while scoring 87 goals and registering 104 assists.

Furthermore, Di María was apart of the squad that made the UEFA Champions League final last summer, which was the first in club history. Another season with PSG will allow for Di María to possibly reach 100 goals in all appearances for the French giants.
