David Aliba will be departing FC Bayern Munich in June when his contract expires. The 28-year-old is looking for a new challenge, and various clubs around Europe are expressing interest in the defender, including Paris Saint-Germain.

As the transfer saga develops, it appears as though it will be a fight between the capital club and Real Madrid. Los Blancos have the future of Sergio Ramos up in the air since his contract also expires in June. Also, there are rumblings of Raphaël Varane possibly departing since his deal is up in 2022.

Despite the uncertainty at the position, the Spanish side isn’t meeting Alaba’s financial demands. However, Sport Bild reports that only one club is willing to meet the Bayern Munich defender’s asking price, and that’s the French giants.

Furthermore, the German media outlet speculates that the decision will likely come down to Alaba choosing to take less money and play for his dream club or suit up for PSG, who will meet his financial demands. Canal Supporters believes that Alaba is looking for a deal that pays him €20-million per year.
