As they head into this summer transfer window, one of the priorities for Paris Saint-Germain is to improve its right-back position.
Even if the capital club decides to keep Alessandro Florenzi, they need more depth considering Colin Dagba doesn’t seem long for the club. Les Parisiens were expressing interest in over the winter transfer window was FC Barcelona’s Emerson, who is currently on loan to Real Betis.
After missing out on the player in January, the French giants are circling back on the 22-year-old, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Barça has given the green light for the player to engage in talks with PSG.
With Sergiño Dest commanding the right-back position for Barça, the Spanish side is open to selling Emerson to help fund a potential purchase for Erling Haaland. As for the price, Goal reports that Barça could be looking for €25-million, which is about what he’s worth.
Now that talks can begin, perhaps it won’t take long for PSG to have its first potential transfer of the 2021 summer window.
