Juventus forward Alvaro Morata went into detail on the promising potential of both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
The new debate in world football is now between Paris Saint-Germain’s Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Haaland. The two goal-scorers have continued to simply dominate their respective leagues while also putting on world-class showings in the UEFA Champions League competition.
“Mbappe has shown more things than Haaland but Haaland looks like an airplane,” Morata said. “They are two different guys. Haaland will dominate the center-forward position in the world. I think Mbappé will do it at all levels because he has the dribble, he has the power, he has the quality. In addition, when I spoke to him when we played against each other, he showed me that he was a good boy.”
Mbappe and Haaland will have another opportunity to showcase their top goal-scoring prowess in the Champions League quarterfinals. Mbappe and PSG will be taking on FC Bayern Munich while Haaland and Dortmund have a clash with the current Premier League-leaders Manchester City.
The upcoming massive fixtures should provide the two with their biggest test so far over the ongoing season, which many will tune in to watch for.
