French Football Pundit Highlights the Importance of Moise Kean to the PSG Squad

Since arriving on loan from Everton FC, Moise Kean has become a vital piece to the Paris Saint-Germain attack. The 21-year-old has made 29 appearances for the capital club and has scored 15 goals and registered one assist.

Kean came to Les Parisiens looking to regain his confidence that he lost last season while with Everton. The young striker hit the scene with Juventus FC scoring eight goals in 21 games as a teenager. Eventually, Kean made a move to the Premier League, where he struggled.

In 37 appearances, Kean only scored four goals. Now at PSG, the Italy international has rediscovered his Juventus form. French football pundit Eric Carrière stated the importance that Kean now has to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad during his appearance on Late Football Club (via Canal Supporters).

“There’s Kean, who I find very important. He is not necessarily the most talented. But he scores goals, and he’s super generous. When the ball is lost, he does not ask himself any questions; he is immediately in defensive mode.”

Kean’s future remains up in the air as the striker has a deal with PSG until June and then has to return to Everton. The capital club will engage in talks with the Premier League side to keep Kean long-term.
