Spanish football host Josep Pedrerol revealed on El Chiringuito de Jugones that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez wants Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappé this summer.
The Los Blancos president might not be able to count on his manager Zinedine Zidane due to the French manager’s inability to decide which player he prefers.
In his press conference with the media, where Canal Supporters relayed his words. Zidane touched on Haaland and Mbappé’s performances during the UEFA Champions League competition this week. Furthermore, he couldn’t decide which of the two he prefers and went with a political answer.
“Mbappé and Haaland are very good. As are Messi, Cristiano, or Neymar. They are younger. They embody the present and the future,” Zidane said.
“If I prefer one or the other between Mbappé and Haaland? What I love is watching football and the good players. They are two players of the present and the future. Here. I’m not going to answer that. Everyone has their preferences; the important thing is that people, including me, see young footballers doing good things on the pitch.”
